Industrial Temperature sensor Manufacturers This topic describes the temperature measurement range of the temperature sensor
The temperature sensor is one of the sensors often used in the modern industrial production process, which can measure the temperature of the object, and convert the measured temperature signal into an electrical signal output, so as to realize the monitoring and control of the measured temperature value. The application scenarios of temperature sensors are very wide, such as automotive, military, food, medical, environmental protection and other fields will use temperature sensors.
The temperature range of the temperature sensor refers to the temperature range in which it can perform accurate temperature measurement. According to the different types and working principles of the temperature sensor, the temperature measurement range will be different. Here we introduce several common temperature sensors and their temperature measurement ranges.

1. Negative temperature Indicates the temperature range of the NTC temperature sensor
The temperature range of an NTC temperature sensor depends on its material and design characteristics. In general, negative temperature NTC temperature sensors can measure a very wide range of temperatures, from low to high temperatures can be adapted. In terms of low temperatures, negative temperature NTC temperature sensors can adapt to very low temperatures, even up to minus 50 degrees Celsius or lower. This makes its application in low temperature environments very handy, such as low temperature refrigeration, frozen food storage and other fields. In terms of high temperatures, the negative temperature NTC temperature sensor can be adapted to a temperature range of up to 200 degrees Celsius or more. This enables its application in high temperature environments such as heat treatment, automotive engines, and electronic equipment. In general, the negative temperature NTC temperature sensor has a certain flexibility and adaptability in the temperature measurement range, and can meet the needs of various temperature measurements.

2. Platinum resistance temperature sensor
Platinum resistance temperature sensor is a kind of high precision and high stability temperature sensor, which is usually used in harsh environments. The temperature range of platinum resistance temperature sensors is usually between -200°C and +850°C, so it can be used in high or low temperature environments in industrial production.
3. Thermocouple temperature sensor
A thermocouple temperature sensor is a thermoelectric effect based temperature sensor that can measure temperature over a wide temperature range. There will also be differences in the temperature range of different types of thermocouple temperature sensors, but in general, the temperature range of thermocouple temperature sensors can be between -270°C and 1800°C.
